My journey toward redemption began in the deepest valleys of addiction, a period defined by the crushing weight of hopelessness and the isolating cold of life on the streets. For years, I wandered through a dark wilderness of my own making, carrying a heavy burden of shame and brokenness that felt impossible to lift. I was standing at the very edge of the abyss, nearly consumed by despair, when a profound encounter with the mercy of Jesus Christ shattered my chains. In that pivotal moment of surrender, His divine light pierced my darkness, offering a grace that not only restored my soul but gave me a new heart. This miraculous transformation led me to my calling as the Chaplain of Into the Light Society. Now, I dedicate every day to walking alongside those still trapped in the shadows, sharing the life-saving truth that no one is beyond reach. Through our ministry, we guide the weary back to the solid Rock of Christ, offering professional support and spiritual kinship to help them rebuild their lives upon a foundation of eternal hope and lasting healing.

Chaplain's Message
One day I saw a young man in our men's recovery program where I was chaplain.
Every time I saw him, he was looking down.
God really laid this young man on my heart.
I began to pray about him every time I saw him. One day in passing I said, "Hello, my name is James. Would you be interested in joining a Bible study?"
That was my first encounter with Kyle. His path to serve led him to create Into The Light Society, and understanding he could not do it alone, he stood on the Rock of Christ and brought in men and women to join him on this mission of compassion, generosity, unity, integrity, and most of all, truth.
So, my fellow brothers and sisters, never underestimate the voice of God, and remember that just one introduction to Christ can result in a bounty of fruit for the Kingdom of God.
